Movement, Confidence & Connection
Adaptive Riding + Horsemanship
Adaptive riding and horsemanship programs that support physical, emotional, and cognitive development through guided equine experiences. PATH Intl. Certified Instructors lead individual and group sessions designed to improve strength, coordination, confidence, and independence through structured equine activities. Through relationships with our therapy horses, participants build valuable life skills, develop leadership and communication abilities, and grow in personal confidence.
Mounted and Unmounted
Private and Group Lessons
Adaptive Horsemanship uses purposeful mounted and unmounted activities with horses to support growth for individuals of all ages and abilities. Participants build balance, coordination, confidence, and connection in a safe and welcoming Windwalkers environment with the support of trained volunteers and PATH-certified instructors.
The horse’s natural movement closely mirrors the human gait, helping improve strength, flexibility, posture, and core stability. Working with horses also encourages focus, communication, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. These experiences foster independence, reduce anxiety, and create meaningful opportunities for personal growth.
Who Can Participate
Adaptive Horsemanship serves children and adults with a wide range of physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental challenges. Activities are tailored to each participant’s abilities and goals, helping them develop skills, confidence, and a strong connection with horses.
